Inventory and Costing Coordinator

POSITION: Inventory and Costing Coordinator

CITY: Scarborough, ON

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Full time, permanent

SALARY: $43,000 - $45,000

Job Description:
  • Review, enter and record production formulas (BOM) into accounting system
  • Product costing for experimental formulas (BOM) as requested by the R&D
  • Review formulas (BOM) from subsidiary for accuracy, and record in accounting system
  • Record Inventory adjustments (Spills, DNS etc.)
  • Record all inter-company inventory transfers and sample adjustments
  • Supervise semiannual and annual inventory counts
  • Reconcile inventory counts and record in accounting system
  • Maintain open purchase order (PO) file for inventory items
  • Match PO’s to receiving log, scale tickets for accuracy and record in accounting system
  • Enter stock adjustment or sample adjustment for inter-company shipments and maintain open file for inter-company shipments
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, plus a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel
  • Highly technical – able to troubleshoot IT issues
