Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist

POSITION: Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist

CITY: Mississauga, ON


SALARY: $18-23/hour

Job Description:
  • Responsible for managing a high volume of customer deductions and clearing them appropriately
  • Investigate deductions and resolve issues accordingly
  • Process and issue customer credits/debits
  • Extensively liaise with sales and various other internal departments to investigate pricing issues, follow up on deduction resolution, and all other issues as required
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer billing inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Credit, Accounts Receivable and Customer Service
  • Provide a high level of consistent service and maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Actively share the workload of the team by answering telephones, resolving issues and communicating
Job Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual French/English is required
  • 3+ years of strong Accounts Receivable and accounting experience in regards to working with customer deductions and debits/credits
  • Oracle experience and intermediate MS excel skills are an asset
  • Strong understanding of customer billings is a must
  • Excellent customer service skills and follow-up skills for issue resolution
  • Must possess strong accounting and analytical skills, as well as mathematical proficiency
  • Excellent telephone and computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and build relationships across functions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Accounting degree preferred
