POSITION: Payroll Admin

CITY: Oakville, ON

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent, Full-time

SALARY: $40,000-$42,000+ benefits from day 1 + pension

Job Description:
  • Ensuring federal and state tax compliance standards are met
  • Ensure compliance and work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Independently control and execute the complete payroll cycle for approximately 900+ hourly employees (at peak season)
  • Enters invoices in the accounting system to issue payments in a timely manner
  • Maintain records for benefit and pension remittances
  • Prepare records of employment and year end T4’s
Job Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant payroll experience
  • Working towards payroll designation an asset
  • Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset
  • Experience in ViewPoint an asset
