POSITION: Payroll Admin
CITY: Oakville, ON
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent, Full-time
SALARY: $40,000-$42,000+ benefits from day 1 + pension
Job Description:
- Ensuring federal and state tax compliance standards are met
- Ensure compliance and work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Independently control and execute the complete payroll cycle for approximately 900+ hourly employees (at peak season)
- Enters invoices in the accounting system to issue payments in a timely manner
- Maintain records for benefit and pension remittances
- Prepare records of employment and year end T4’s
Job Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 1-3 years of relevant payroll experience
- Working towards payroll designation an asset
- Experience working in a unionized environment considered an asset
- Experience in ViewPoint an asset
