Payroll Administrator


POSITION: Payroll Administrator

CITY: Kitchener, ON

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Permanent, Full-time

SALARY: $50,000

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for over 1,000 employees (union and non-union)
  • Upload / enter data and verify using audit reports
  • Update and maintain pay information received from Human Resources
  • Investigate and respond to pay queries from managers and staff
  • Generate regular, year-end and ad hoc reports
  • Assist with: account reconciliations, garnishments, ROE’s, auditing of information, and filing
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Proficient in Excess, Access and Word
  • PCP or Payroll Administrator Certificate or equivalent work experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Previous experience in a unionized, multi-facility environment
  • Bilingual (English and French) is a definite asset
  • Experience with Ceridian Insync is a definite asset
